To maintain the depth of color and longevity of your stain, please follow these aftercare steps carefully.

saunas, hot tubs, ovens, & tanning beds

rounds, or cotton swabs (Q-tips) directly on your lashes
● Avoid the use of mechanical and heated eyelash curlers
● Schedule any massages and facial treatments before your lash appointment
● Avoid chemical peels, Alpha Hydroxy, Beta Hydroxy &other highly acidic substances while
wearing your lashes
● The use of mascara is not recommended, but if needed during the growth stage, refrain from
using waterproof mascara
● Brush your lashes often
● Be gentle. Do not tug, rub, pick or pull at your lashes
Eyelashes shed naturally & a relash is necessary every 2-4 weeks. Each individual’s lash cycle is different
and should be taken into consideration during shedding cycle and scheduling your next relash, to avoid
full set appointments.
The first 24 hours after your lash appointment are the most important! The first 24 hours are crucial
for the bonding process and it is imperative that you allow your lashes to properly cure. Please avoid
excessive sweating, washing the eyes, tanning, applying eye creams/lotions, eye makeup, spas, saunas,
swimming, steam rooms, and excessively touching your lashes within this time frame.
After your lashes have fully cured, we recommend keeping your lashes clean and brushed every day.

With proper application, Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions look and feel completely real. Each application is customized to suit the individual. We offer three thicknesses of lashes and four different curls with lengths ranging from 5mm to 17mm in a variety of colors for highlighting effects. Varying individual synthetic lash lengths are chosen to carefully replicate the shape and frame of a natural lash line. The thickness of the Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions applied is determined by the health and thickness of your natural lashes as well as personal preference. The overall effect is added curl, thickness and length, opening up the eye for added definition. Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions are designed to be indistinguishable in size and weight to human lashes. They are flexible yet crimp-resistant, and they move with your natural lashes. As long as you keep up with the touch-up applications, it is almost impossible to tell that you are wearing the extensions. Because an Xtreme Lash® is an exact replica of an eyelash, it weighs about as much as a natural lash: practically nothing. You will not notice the addition of the extensions to your lashes and they will not cause your natural lashes to fall out ahead of their natural cycle as other enhancement methods can. Please feel free to review our client testimonials and before/after pictures for additional information on the look and feel of our Eyelash Extensions.

Depending on the expertise and experience of the Lash Stylist and the number of lashes being, it generally
takes between 120 to 150 minutes for the consultation and application for a full set of Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions. Touch-ups can be done in as little as 45 to 75 minutes.

Can you describe the application process?
You will be comfortably reclined with your eyes closed while Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions are applied one at a time to your own natural eyelashes. There is no discomfort or pain involved in the procedure. In fact, most clients find it is so relaxing and comfortable that they fall asleep.

Because Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions are applied to existing natural lashes you must have some natural lashes to receive the procedure. Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions should not, and in many cases cannot, be applied to clients who have alopecia, are undergoing chemotherapy or those who suffer from Trichotillomania, unless and until the individual has received effective treatment and normal lash growth has resumed.

No. Only a trained professional will be able to safely apply Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions. Unprofessional application or self-application may cause eye injury, lash damage or unnatural looking lashes. Xtreme Lashes®
Eyelash Extensions are applied one lash at a time to your individual natural eyelashes to achieve long, thick and natural looking eyelashes. The procedure involves bonding the synthetic extension to your own natural eyelashes and should be performed only by professionally trained Lash Stylists only.

The major investment in Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions consists of the initial full set, typically between 60 and 120 lashes per eye. This can run anywhere from $200 to $600, depending on how many lashes are applied, the skill level of the Lash Stylist and in what part of the country you are located. The application of Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions is an art form, and just as with hair styling and cutting, it can cost a bit more to have your lashes styled by the best. Once the initial set has been completed, touch-ups are nominal by beauty industry standards. A typical Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions touch up application consists of 20 – 40 lashes per eye and costs substantially less than the initial application, usually ranging from $75-$150. Given this, the cost of maintaining your eyelash extensions indefinitely is really quite comparable to the cost of fills on acrylic nails or highlighting your hair. One note of caution: We hear countless stories of individuals who go to an untrained lash technician because the cost is low. They receive a substandard set of lashes that is clumpy, painful and often damaging to their lashes. A proper application of lashes is not painful during or after the procedure. Eyelash extension application is an exacting process that takes skill and time. If the cost is very cheap, you should certainly question the training of the technician as well as the quality of the product. These same individuals often end up seeking out an Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions Stylist after they try the inexpensive alternatives. Ultimately, most have realized from experience that the old adage “you get what you pay for” is often true.

PARAMERICAL PROCEDURES

Scar tissue is made up of coiled bundles of broken elastin fibers formed by the body to close a deep wound.  Scars result from injury to the deep sub layer of the dermis.

Types of Scar:

  • Hypertrophic- A raised scar that creates excessive amounts of collagen when healing, it may appear thick, widened and raised but remains within the boundary of the injury.
  • Atrophic- A concave or sunken appearance that makes the surface of the skin look pocked or uneven.
  • Hypo-Pigmented- A scar that is completely devoid of color.  It is lighter than normal skin color.
  • Hyper-Pigmented- occurs when the skin produces more melanin (the natural pigment that gives skin its color). This can make spots or patches of skin appear darker than surrounding areas.
  • Keloid- A scar that continues to grow overtime & outside the boundary of the injury. It forms a large, bulky, puffy, round protrusion scar. Keloid scar shows four times the water loss of a normal scar. This is what signals the body to continue producing excess tissue. This type of scar is most prominent in darker skin types.
  • Burn- Often form vastly irregularly-textured skin, having the appearance of ropes under the skin, contrasted by craters.

A consultation is needed for procedures to be performed to ensure if you are a candidate for this treatment.  Prior to your appointment, you will receive a consultation form to complete, to further discuss your medical history, allergies,  or any indications that would prohibit you from receiving this treatment.  Once cleared, we further discuss the targeted area and the best approach; whether pigment matching or sectional areas to map size etc., and targeted area.   Depending on the size and complexity of the area will determine the duration of procedure and the recommended amount of treatment.  Each individual will alter the treatment amount.  Some factors include the health condition, location of scars, nutritional intake, skin color, individuals age, aftercare & natural healing time that play a vital role in the final healing process.

Depending on your sensitivity, we will determine where you are on the Likert Scale (discomfort threshold) for the treated area.  Although most patients require a topical local anesthetic cream applied 30 to 45 minutes prior to the procedure to numb the area, there will be some form of discomfort that is usually expected, however, tolerable when going through the procedure.

Skin reactions to a procedure differs from each person.  However, in most cases, the treated area will have some edema (slightly raised), some bleeding, possible lymph secretion may appear, and will have the sensation of a sunburn.  Your technician will provide you with some aftercare products and recommend products you should have/ purchase for an effective aftercare routine.  A thorough aftercare guide will be provided to you after your procedure.

The type of procedure/ technique used and your healing status, will determine when your next treatment should be scheduled.  It may vary from 1-2 months or 3-4 months, each individual differs.   An assessment is necessary to factor best rebooking.
